EUR/USD, 2016 half a year

Despite all bad opinions about the euro, the US dollar made a minimum in 2015 (1.05) and since then the euro has bounced back as predicted. Even after the Brexit that could strongly hurt the European Union, the euro is still up this year as we can see on the chart above. It seems that it will continue going up on the short run no matter what happens politically or economically.

From an American investor's point of view, it could be the perfect moment to diversify the US portfolio with some nice European companies, in general with lower P/E ratios than the local ones.
